I am looking to reset all parameters back to the factory defaults. How do I accomplish this?

    Hi

The configuration is stored as a read only file in C:\BCLOCAL directory.

To load configuration

goto GAUGES SCREEN, press CONFIG BUTTON.

The main configuration screen will appear. Press LOAD BUTTON.

Password prompt will appear. Enter "NBS" and press OK.

If the GAUGES SCREEN is blank, no control loops listed you need to reload the BCLOCAL software and go through the setup configuration and loops. This can happen due to the battery backup batteries being dead.

Regards

Mark

When I select "Load", I am brought directly to the configuration screen. I get a prompt saying "All loops in the current configuration will be replaced. Continue?" I select yes. Then I open C:\BCLocal2 directory (there is another, misspelled version of this directory but it is empty). Inside the BCLocal2 folder, there is only an empty "Drivers" folder.

Not sure how to proceed. Any further help would be much appreciated.

Hi Dan

You have definately lost the configuration files and it also sounds like the BCLOCAL software is currupted.

If you email me direct at  mark@broadlabservices.co.uk  I can send you  the BCLOCAL software and configuration files for BF4500.

If you have a system with the internal computer you will need to copy software and files to old 3.5 disks to do a load from software.

Regards

Mark
