Hi everyone,

just replaced the board and got the error message IMBAL when attempting to run a program.

With the old board there was no IMBAL error.

I wonder if one needs to "program" the board before installing?

thank you,

Miguel

Hi Miguel,

You do have to recalibrate the imbalance detection for the new board after installing. See

Hi Jeff,

thanks a lot for your reply. I try to follow the forum as much as possible but I guess I missed that topic :/

When you instal such board, do you check or calibrate any other thing besides the imbalance?

Thank you so much,

Miguel

Hi Miguel,

You're welcome.

The imbalance detection is the only thing you have to reprogram for a new board.

But, a new board is not the only time you have to reprogram the imbalance detection. You also have to do it when you replace the motor or motor mounts, the rotor, and of course, the imbalance detection board.
