I have a polychrome V, with the first lampe it was very fine, but after 3 years of usage we have to replace the lampe. I put exactly the same model from USHIO (UXL-S150MO) but after about 5 On/ Off cycles, problems with ignition begin to happen. There are days where the ignition is totally impossible. Suprisingly it is possible to get the system started with the old lampe or when the housing system was removed; we found that because an technician wanted to see what was wrong, and when he opend it it worked without any problem. after putting the whole system to gether, we could switch it for 3 cycles and  we came back in troubles

Is there anyone who have made similar experience?

I have the same problem, my polychrome V was working fine and suddenly, one day it started to fail. I'm experiencing that when the lamp turns on, it last like 1 minute to 3 minutos turned on and then it just shuts off. I don´t know what could be happening but i wish someone answers to me please.

Hello ANGez (Leibniz University Hannover / Biophysics) and Claudio Moreno (University of Santiago of Chile)! To help you diagnose the defects in Polychrome V, please attach in the email <smartsysconsult@yahoo.com>: - a filming of about 2 minutes (from the moment of starting the equipment) with the evolution of the status of the LEDs (placed "back" of the housing) - after unplugging the power supply and removing the housing, execute at least 4 quality photos in which to see the status of the components and / or subassemblies, connectors, etc. Danger! Do not connect the power supply to the equipment when the housing is removed!

For instance, you worked Day  time cards calculator 1 from 8:35 to 12:37, ceased for lunch at that point came back to work from 1:07 to 2:45, enjoyed a reprieve and worked again from 3:05 to 5:00. Enter times in the line for Day 1 as 835, 1237, 107, 245, 305, and 500 (or only 5). Select additional time choices and enter your compensation rate in the event that you need the last time card report to figure your gross pay.
