Error 1 reads an error in speed measuring system.  The manual suggests trying a different rotor.

Yes, it doesn't happen with another rotor. But I need to use this rotor, so what do I do?

Is the rotor you are trying to use approved for use in this centrifuge?  If so, the unit isnt recognising it.

Yes, it is approved for use in this centrifuge.

What can I do to make it recognize it / properly measure the speed?

If the rotor is a newer type maybe the firmware needs an update?  May be worth checking with Eppendorf.
