Agilent Autosampler Tray - 7683 Series

I am getting the following error : Sampler unit has reported an error. Z axis Home failed.
The arm/gripper can not pick up a sample vial. The arm can not move freely either lenthwise or height wise.

It would appear that some fellow LabWrench users were having a similar problem with the Agilent 6890. Here is the post with suggestions on how to correct this problem:
