Calibration of multiplier in saturn 2100

I am using a 3900 GC hooked to a Saturn 2100. It was working very well until l had to shut it down for some renovation work in the laboratory. When l had it started after about three months, I wasn't able to tune the multipler. It continues to say there is too many ions in the trap. I have cleaned the trap over and over again and changed the column but the problem is still there. Can you please help me out?
