I am trying to get a Leco CN-2000 up and running. One of the many problems that I am facing is long combustion times, around 8 min per sample. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this issue? I would like to get the combustion time down to under 4 min.

Thank you,

We have one of these. First of all check that the flow profiles are all set to high, check that the furnace outlet isn't blocked. If this doesn't work, watch the ballast tank going up and down during an analysis - if it goes up quickly but down slowly, the problem is at the bottom of the cooler. If it goes up slowly but down quickly, the problem is somewhere between the furnace and the ballast tank. If you are still reading this and want more information, please post back here.
