I have an Spectronic 20.  It needs a power requirement of 110 volts.  How can I run it in 220 volt in India at AC?

Buy a step down transformer to suite the wattage of the unit, usually marked where the line cord enters. VoltageConverters.com is a good source on the Net

It is likely the wattage of a spec 20 is quite low and maybe you could even get a suitable step down Tx locally from The Source,Radio Shack that was. Although the step downs from Voltage Converters are very handy built in case, outlets, fuses etc.

Hi Anuj, you could use a step down transformer, it would step the voltage down from 220v to 120v.
