The Sorvall brand has been part of Thermo since mid 2005.
You should be able to get a lid spring from their service department , no problem.
Go to www.thermoscientific.com and click on the Contact Us button; you can then select Service Contact, US, Laboratory Equipment, Centrifuges, Floor model centrifuges, Superspeed centrifuges to get find the right department. In fact, their Tel. N° is 1-866-984-3766. They are in Ashville, NC. You could otherwise fill out the contact form.
