Hello,

Error 6 is converter overloaded or defective brake. Wait 5 minutes after switching of before restarting the unit.

It also means loose rotor. Tighten the rotor onto the drive shaft. Make ure the drive shaft and inside center of rotor are clean before mounting the rotor.

Hope this helps.

Error 6 can also be caused from a loose rotor. Simply tighten the rotor and retry. All other causes are frequency converter issues and would require further electrical troubleshooting.

Yes i do check check the brake resisters and the majority of the time, the board will have to be changed . the cost is around $1400.00 from Eppendorff and a lot more from other sources.

if some knows how to repairs the board let me know please. i was told by Eppendorff the inverter was damaged on the main pcb board.
