losing ions in FT mode

I am a graduate student working on petroleum samples with LTQ-FT instrument. The problem is that I can not get a good mass spectra for my samples...


My LCQ Fleet seems unable to go below 2E-5 Torr, and has stabilised around 2.15E-5.Anyone can point out what are the main causes of such failure?
