The F-2500 Fluorescence Spectrophotometer has been designed to include software and performance features that address the widest range of fluorescence applications with scan speeds of up to 3000 nm/min, resolution of 2.5 nm and comprehensive data processing functions for photometry, wavelength scanning and time scanning. Applications include life sciences, biotechnology, quality control, education, new materials and other basic scientific researches.     This model has been replaced with the F-2700

What is the Calibration procedure for the f-2500?

Wavelength calibration of an F-2500

Does anyone know how to calibrate the wavelength on an F-2500?  From spectra of quinine sufate in H2SO4(aq) my emission peak is shifted about 4nm off from the literature values.  I assume I need to change the grating angle on the emission...

slits

Slit Width: 2.5, 5, 10, 20 nm. Probrably these values are wrong and should be  given in micrometers, not in nanometers for the possible slits in the F-2500 fluoremeter. Am I correct!?
