The Esco Labculture Horizontal Laminar Flow Cabinet is a clean bench which provides ULPA-filtered laminar airflow for operations requiring a particulate-free environment. The regulated efflux of laminar airflow supplies the work zone with ISO Class 3 air cleanliness to offer the best product production by a clean bench in the industry. 
 
The Esco Labculture Vertical Laminar Flow Cabinet is a clean bench which provides ULPA-filtered laminar airflow for operations requiring a particulate-free environment. Vertical Laminar Flow Cabinets offer proven protection for your samples and processes but should not be used in experiments with biohazardous materials or toxins, as they do not provide operator protection. Vertical laminar flow offers certain tangible advantages over horizontal flow cabinets (which may be the convention in some parts of the world), such as lower energy consumption levels (40% of conventional systems) through the use of exclusive motorized impeller technology and less airflow turbulence (especially when large objects are used in the work zone). 
 
The Labculture Reverse Horizontal Flow Cabinet (RHL) protects the operator and the laboratory environment from particles, aerosols, powders and allergens. The large volume of horizontal inward airflow provides equivalent protection with superior access into the work zone compared with Class I Biological Safety Cabinets, fume hoods or related containment devices. This cabinet does not provide protection against chemical vapors nor protect the product from exposure to contaminants. Suitable applications include animal handling (where product protection is not required), powder containment, sputum induction and others.

  • ISO Class 3 air cleanliness within work zone as per ISO 14644.1 (equivalent to Class 1 as per US Federal Standard 209E, 100 times "cleaner" than the usual Class 100 classification on cabinets offered by the competition).   
  • High-quality polyester pre-filter and U15 ULPA filter(s) with a typical efficiency of 99.9997% at MPPS, 99.9998% at both 0.3 and 0.12 microns provide the best product protection in the world; typical main ULPA filter lifespan is more than 3 years depending on ambient operating conditions and the total number of hours in usage per day.   
  • Mini-pleat separatorless ULPA filter technology reduces energy consumption and delivers increased laminar airflow uniformity for better product / cross-contamination protection.   
  • Isocide™ antimicrobial coated cabinet structure prevents surface contamination and inhibits bacterial growth on the cabinet's external surfaces.
