Agilent provides a family of GC analyzers for natural gas and natural gas liquids. Based on the industry-leading 7890A GC system, these analyzers include all software, supplies, methods, and support to help you address your specific measurement and technical business needs. Whether you select from one of our turnkey configurations or require a custom analyzer, Agilent will consult with you to define the solution that is right for you.
Agilent provides GC analyzers for measuring chemical plant and refinery gases, which can provide information about operations, unit organization, and the release of finished products. Based on our 7890A GC system, these analyzers include all software, supplies, methods, and support to help you address your measurement and technical business needs. You can select from one of our standard configurations, including analyzers for extended refinery gas, fast refinery gas, fixed gases, or flue gas. Or we will consult with you to provide a custom analyzer to meet specific requirements.
An exact and fast analysis of refinery gas is essential for optimizing refinery processes and controlling product quality. A 7890A GC configured for simultaneous operation of three parallel channels provides a complete refinery gas analysis in six minutes. The system conforms to ASTM D1945, D1946, and UOP 539 standard methods.
Carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O) are considered the main greenhouse gases in the Earth’s atmosphere. Continuous measurement of these gases provides meaningful information to track greenhouse gases emission trends and helps in the fight against climate change. Two Greenhouse Gases Analyzers based on the Agilent 7890A GC have been developed to meet the different requirements for simultaneous analysis of CH4, CO2, and N2O in air samples. Both systems can easily be expanded to determine sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and demonstrate high sensitivity with excellent repeatability.
Agilent offers biodiesel analyzers designed to meet ASTM and CEN testing standards. Based on the 7890A gas chromatograph with Capillary Flow Technology, these analyzers provide the highest level of performance and productivity for FAMEs analysis, glycerin and glyceride determination, SIMDIS, trace methanol measurement, and more in B2 to pure biodiesel. Agilent application specialists work with worldwide standards organizations to monitor and define new methods as this emerging field continues to evolve.
The 7890A GC’s Deans switch allows simplified, and fast 2-dimensional GC analysis. Co-eluting peaks are “cut” from one column to another of different phase. Compounds that might co-elute with analyte on the first column are separated from analyte on the second column. The oxygenates analyzer includes a split/splitless inlet, pneumatics control module, two columns (pre-column and analytical), two FIDs, and factory checkout. This configuration will meet the ISO EN 13132 method. An autosampler and Agilent ChemStation are strongly recommended.
Agilent provides a family of GC analyzers for reformulated gasoline. Based on the 7890A GC system, these analyzers include all software, supplies, methods, and support to help you address your measurement and technical business needs. You can select from one of our many turnkey configurations, including the determination of benzene and toluene in motor fuels, ethers and alcohols in gasoline, or standard methods for aromatics.
Agilent provides GC analyzers for measuring impurities in polymer-grade monomers, such as ethylene and propylene. Based on the 7890A GC system, these analyzers include all software, supplies, methods, and support to help you address your measurement and technical business needs. You can select from one of our turnkey configurations for the analysis of an array of impurities over broad concentration ranges.
