With the MaxQ 5000 incubated and refrigerated floor shakers, you get convenient, hands-free operation and clear, closed-door observation.

With these shakers, you can accomplish cell culture, solubility studies, plasmid purification, staining and destaining, extraction procedures, protein expression and many other applications.

Choose the MaxQ 5000 for easy-to-use operation:
  • Easy-access side drain system permits easy clean up of spills
  • Drip pan built into the chamber floor under the platform contains spills.
  • Easily accommodates six 4-liter flasks, four 6-liter flasks, or six 28-ml Fernbach flasks using the 30 X 18” platform.
  • Wide temperature range, 10°C above ambient to 60°C on incubated models; 15°C below ambient to 60°C on refrigerated models.
  • Retractable foot casters allow easy manipulation in the lab.
  • Triple eccentric drive handles heavy loads, uniform agitation and continuous 24-hour operation, even at high speeds.
  • Monitor and control chamber temperature range with ±0.1°C accuracy at 37°C.

Dial it in using the analog operating system
  • Variable speed from 40 to 400 rpm, controlled by a rotary dial monitored accurately by a traditional tachometer.
  • Easy-to-read LED digital temperature display.
  • Perfom rtimed studies with timed operation from 1 to 60 minutes or operate shaker in continuous mode.

Easy-to-use controls with the digital operating system
  • Variable speed control from 15 to 500 rpm.
  • Continuous and timed operation from 0.1 hour up to 999 hours or 0.1 minute to 999 minutes.
  • View speed, time and temperature simultaneously on three separate displays.
  • Visual/audible alarms alert you to temperature deviations. Heat turns off if temperature deviates ±1°C of setpoint.
  • Soft start feature eliminates sudden starts and stops, splashing of vessel contents or wetting of flask closure.
  • Solid state DC brushless motor is maintenance free.

Safety first
Over-temperature safety feature with independent thermostat provides additional backup by controlling heat if main temperature controller fails.
