Features

The MaxQ 4000 benchtop, orbital shakers are durable and easy-to-use with a spacious 18” x 18” platform for higher vessel capacity.

With these benchtop shakers, you can accomplish cell culture, solubility studies, extraction procedures, protein expression and many other applications.

The MaxQ 4000 combines incubated/refrigerated temperatures with orbital shaking:
  • Clearly view speed, time and temperature simultaneously on three separate displays.
  • Spacious chamber holds six two-liter flasks
  • Choose from a variety of temperature ranges; incubated (10°C above ambient to 60°C), high temperature (10°C above ambient to 80°C) or refrigerated (15°C below ambient to 60°C.)
  • Triple eccentric drive handles heavy loads, uniform agitation and continuous 24-hour operation, even at high speeds.
  • Monitor and control chamber temperature range with ±0.1°C accuracy at 37°C.

Dial it in using the analog operating system
  • Variable speed from 40 to 400 rpm, controlled by a rotary dial monitored accurately by a traditional tachometer.
  • Easy-to-read LED digital temperature display.
  • Perform timed studies with timed operation from 1 to 60 minutes or operate shaker in continuous mode.

Easy-to-use controls with the digital operating system
  • Variable speed control from 15 to 500 rpm.
  • Continuous and timed operation from 0.1 hour up to 999 hours or 0.1 minute to 999 minutes.
  • Shaker shutdown and audible/visual alarms signal if unit operates ±10% of set speed, preventing shaker from walking.
  • User-adjustable speed calibration can be performed using a digital handheld tachometer, where verification is required and protocols can be standardized.
  • Unbalanced load sensor stops platform motion when excess vibration is detected and visual/audible alarms signal until condition is corrected.
  • Soft start feature eliminates sudden starts and stops, splashing of vessel contents or wetting of flask closure.
  • Solid state DC brushless motor is maintenance free.

the shaker can not operate

Hello there,   i got a problem with my MaxQ400 ( SHKE4000-1CE) , it is can be operate ( no supply). Can you assist me for troubleshooting or what can i do  Thanks Irwan Wiky Zone Resources irwan@wikyzone.com

No sign of live

The shaker cannot be switched on, has no signs of life at all. We have checked the IEC lead for continuity and the fuse inside the UK 3-pin plug, there is a fuse holder in the side panel at the rear (near the IEC inlet) which is rated as T 0.1A...

Unit runs then shuts down

My unit starts to run and after variable times it will just shut down. Can un plug it and then plug it and plug it back it in it will start for some time and stop again. Seems like something overheating in the unit. Any ideas?
