The Thermo Scientific Varioskan Flash spectral scanning multimode reader is an ideal tool for speeding up assay development. It is designed for analysing and optimization of assays such as binding assays, ADMETox, molecular biology assays, enzyme kinetic studies, ion-channel and cell signalling assays.  
  
Varioskan® Flash includes fluorescence intensity, time-resolved fluorescence (TRF), photometric, and luminometric detection technologies. It provides optimal performance to speed up your assay development with unlimited wavelength selection, up to three onboard dispensers, unparalleled optical performance and the advanced SkanIt Software  
  
Varioskan Flash is certified for DLReady™ by Promega* and LanthaScreen™ by Invitrogen Corp**.

Filter & Monochromator

What is the use of the filter for photometric readings when the monochromator supposedly selects the desired wavelength already?

Calibration values,

We're using Varioskan to read differents serum markers with ELISA method. We have a doubt about the post-treatment data. Can we define well's properties after reading absorbance? Thanks.
