Dynex Technologies/MR5000 - Cannot print results
We are running the BioLinx software that came with our (old) MR5000 on a Windows7 workstation, but Biolinx presents an error when attempting to print the output. All other printing from that PC is unaffected. Is this likely to be an issue with Biolinx operating under that Windows7 and, if so, dare you able to supply a version of the reader software that will permit printing. Advise this member.

METTLER TOLEDO/MT5 - Won't recognize balance
The digital readout part of the balance will not recognize when the actual balance is connected or disconnected. Does anybody have a solution to this issue? Advise this member.

Varian/AA240FS - Calibration curve
What does it mean when an I is attached to the end of the numeric value on addition S0 value? How does this impact the curve if any? What does it mean if it is also seen on sample analysis values? Advise this member.

What Has Schrödinger’s Cat Got To Do With Our Particle Analytics?

In the year 1935, Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger invented his famous cat to demonstrate conceptual difficulties in quantum mechanics. Even though he himself called his cat example “burlesque”, it still successfully illustrates major peculiarities of quantum objects. In the following, we take a look at how Schrödinger’s cat is relevant to modern particle analytics.

Lab Equipment Questions for the Experts

Agilent Technologies/OpenLAB CDS - Peak pattern calibration
I'm doing an analysis for kerosene using Agilent's OpenLab CDS, I have the calibration curve ran, however i cannot figure out how to identify the compound as a timed group. I want the times between 4-13.5 minutes to be collectively identified and quantified as kerosene, but there doesn't seem to be an obvious way to do this. I've read in online manuals that it's possible to do this, but nowhere does it say how! Advise this member.

Hardness/Rockwell 2000 Series - RHC scale
When testing steel with a tensile strength of 70 to 89 KSI and hardness range less than RHB 100, would using RHC scale be appropriate, or accurate? Advise this member.

Thermo Scientific/Jouan B4i Series - Error 8
I have error 8 problem with my Jouan B4i. Can anyone inform me what the meaning of error 8 is? Advise this member.
