Sample Amount
Question: What is the minimum amount (in gram) of sample that can be processed using the SFT-150?
Answer: The SFT-150 SFE can accommodate sample vessel sizes from 100mls up to 2000mls. Now depending on the density of your raw materials you can typically get a “fill” of raw materials on 50 up to 80% of the vessel volume. So in effect it really depends on your density of materials to extract and then your volume of processing vessel to get a feel for number of grams that can be processed.

How Difficult Is It To Swap Out a Dead Motor On The Sorvall RC-5C+?
How difficult is it to swap out a dead motor? We've replaced motor brushes in the past so taking it apart isn't a problem. I've found refurbished/motor exchange parts for cheap, but they don't have the gyro spindle and endcap. Can we just swap out the parts, or are there specialty tools needed?
