Ultravolt® extends reduced temperature coefficient option Into additional series

Capacitor charging hv modules from 60w to 250w and 0 to 125v through 30kv now available with the -25ppm option

UltraVolt, Inc., a world-leading manufacturer of high-voltage power supplies and high-voltage power systems, announced today it has further refined its product line by offering the -25PPM option on its High Power C Series and High Power 8C-30C Series.

The -25PPM option has been available on product lines such as the popular A Series high- voltage bias power supply (from 4W to 30W and 0 to 62V to 40kV), the high performance PPM- level ripple & regulation E Series, and most recently on the smaller size version of the A the AA Series. Now, High Power C Series and High Power 8C-30C Series high-voltage power supply modules from 60W to 250W and 0 to 125V through 30kV featuring the -25PPM option will provide an improved temperature coefficient for customers who have critical applications in variable temperature environments. High voltage power supplies with this option maintain a 25ppm temperature coefficient on both the output voltage and output voltage monitor. In addition, the modules will provide 0 to+5V or 0 to +10V compensated reference. These references have 0.05% accuracy and 5ppm per °C temperature coefficient.

The addition of this option to these series broadens the availability of the -25PPM option to high voltage modules with an output voltage of 0 to 62V through 0 to 40kV, configured for either biasing or cap-charging applications. As a result of UltraVolt’s product standardization, units featuring the -25PPM option conform to the standard package size. This makes them ideal for plug-in replacement in current designs, as well as use in new designs – especially when used in conjunction with the new –I5/-I10 digital-ready interface option for quick integration with DAC & ADC solutions using a PC, PLC, or MicroController.

Modules featuring the -25PPM Option are available with a lead time of 4-5 weeks.
