EMCO High Voltage Corporation, a leading designer and manufacturer of high voltage power supplies, announced today that it has completed ISO 9001:2008 certifications.  The EMCO Quality System (EQS) demonstrates its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and enhances customer satisfaction with processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to requirements.

All EMCO facilities are certified.  “Together with IPC Certifications, UL inspected manufacturing facilities and UL listed products, EMCO is committed to providing the highest quality possible,” explains Mike Doherty, President and CEO of EMCO High Voltage Corporation.
The ISO 9001:2008 standard establishes the base criteria for EMCO’s Quality Management System (EQS). It encompasses all areas of EMCO, including people, products and processes. To achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification, an organization must undergo review of the efficiency and effectiveness of its quality management system by an external third party certified registrar.

"Our customers require power supplies that are designed for high performance and reliability. Earning ISO 9001:2008 certification allows EMCO to further demonstrate to customers that we take our commitment to quality and reliability very seriously,” says Doherty.
