High Throughput Biological Sample Concentrator

The miVac Quattro from Genevac is the perfect workhorse sample concentrator for biological laboratories tasked with handling larger numbers of samples.

The miVac Quattro centrifugal vacuum concentrator rapidly removes a wide range of solvents, from volatile organic solvents through to DMF, including water, making it the ideal system for concentrating precious samples in applications including oligonucleotide synthesis, RNA/DNA preparation, peptide preparation, sequencing, molecular biology and ADME / toxicology research.

A wide variety of high capacity  rotors means that the miVac Quattro is capable of removing water and organic solvents from biological samples in a range of formats including tubes, microplates, and vials. Fitted with a four-swing position rotor the miVac Quattro can simultaneously accommodate up to twenty shallow well microplates or eight deep-well plates enabling significant increases in throughput and slashing drying times.

Benefiting from bespoke methods for different solvents the miVac Quattro will typically remove water up to 40% faster than traditional concentrators and is extremely quiet when in use.  Solvent removal productivityis further enhanced by the unique miVac SpeedTrap refrigerated condenser,  solid aluminium JetRotor system , and high displacement pump

The compact size of the productive miVac Quattro saves valuable bench space.  The simple, robust design of the system will provide many years of reliable service even when used intensively.  The intuitive controls allow inexperienced users to get first-class results first time with most samples, whilst providing more sophisticated programming capability for experienced workers.  The miVac Quattro offers digital control of concentrator temperature and independent heat/run timers, reducing the risk of heat damage to your samples.

Benchmarked to provide best-of-class performance in all aspects the miVac Quattro provides scientists everything they need to safely and swiftly concentrate or dry their biological samples in an affordable, easy-to-use package.
