The new UV/VIS Excellence instruments integrate robust, state-of-the-art components into a unique spectroscopic system design: FastTrack UV/VIS technology. It comprises modern fiber optics in combination with array detection and a Xenon flash lamp. A full spectrum scan is performed within just 1 second. The instrument's specifications are compliant with strict Pharmacopeia regulations. Its robust design secures measurement stability and contributes to result accuracy and repeatability. As the lamp is only used for real measurements, its lifetime is greatly increased.

UV5Bio – the life science expert
The ideal instrument for life science applications based on cuvette measurement. Pre-defined, direct measurement applications are available for immediate use.
UV5Nano – the micro-volume master
Save precious sample, measure high absorption samples in wide concentration ranges reliably on the micro-volume platform. The additional cuvette measurement possibility doubles the application power in life sciences applications. Micro-volume UV/VIS measurement is the method of choice if small sample amounts or if high absorption samples need to be measured. Only 1 µL of the pure sample is pipetted on the window surface and LockPath™ technology makes sure that the available pathlengths at 0.1 and 1 mm are accurately defined. Measurement errors are avoided as wide concentration ranges from 6 ng/mL to 15.000 ng/mL of dsDNA can be measured without further dilutions. This and measurement accomplishment within 2 seconds per pathlength saves a lot of precious time.

Workflow efficiency and security can be significantly improved with the cuvette changer and the FillPal mini peristaltic pump. The CertiRef™ module performs fully automatic performance checks compliant with US and EU Pharmacopeia regulations with certified reference materials.
