A viscometer, as the name implies, is an instrument used to measure the viscosity of a fluid. Viscometers come in different shapes and sizes, and range from simple inexpensive flow cups to more expensive rotational instruments. But what makes a viscometer a rheometer and which instrument do I really need for my application? In this webinar we will discuss some of the key differences between viscometers and rheometers and highlight the advantages of rheological testing over basic viscosity testing.
