St. Joseph, Mich.—The TruMac Series Macro Determinator makes it possible to determine nitrogen/protein or carbon/nitrogen in characteristically heterogeneous, difficult to prepare, or low-level samples, such as soils, feeds, meats, petfoods, starches, slurries, or wastewater. Nitrogen sample mass up to 3 grams, or carbon/nitrogen sample mass up to 1 gram, can be analyzed in as little as 5 minutes, with a low cost-per-analysis.
“A benefit of the new TruMac is that it has large, reusable ceramic boats for analyzing macro samples with little preparation,” said Mason Marsh, Organic Product Manager, LECO Corporation. “These large sample mass capabilities, combined with the instrument’s reliable automation, have already generated a lot of interest in the TruMac.”
