This webinar is the first in a Masterclass series covering everything you want to know about measuring particle size by laser diffraction. We’ll start by introducing some of the basic principles of particle sizing and then look at how the technique of laser diffraction is used to measure particle size.

To do this we will take a look at the process of making a laser diffraction measurement, how samples are prepared and introduced into the instrument, and what data is recorded. Finally, we’ll look at the results that you get from a laser diffraction measurement and what these can tell you about your product or process.

Future webinars in the Masterclass series will look in more detail at method development, optical models and optical properties, method transfer, advanced software features and troubleshooting.
