A compact, narrow-footprint combined refrigerated bath circulator and thermostatic bath, the RCB-20 provides efficient temperature control in the -20 °C to +100 °C range for all types of electrophoresis and transfer techniques. Temperature is regulated to ±0.1 °C.

The compact unit is only 20 cm wide, with a benchtop footprint of 20 x 36 cm. Yet its capacities are sufficient for several electrophoresis systems simultaneously. Cooling capacity is 200 W at 20 °C; heat is controlled by a 1000 W heater (115 VAC unit); flow rate is 15 liters per minute. The bath volume is 4.5 liters.
