Remote measurements for life science and chemical QA/QC
The Cary 50 UV-Visible Spectrophotometer is a budget-priced instrument that can make remote fiber optic UV-visible measurements without a compromise in quality. Using a powerful Xenon flash lamp and a concentrated beam the instrument can make measurements on samples up to 3 Abs. It can scan the whole wavelength range (190-1100 nm) in only 3 seconds. The spectrophotometer supports a wide selection of optional accessories for both liquid and solid samples. The instrument is ideally-suited for life science and chemical QA/QC applications where remote sampling is important. Many universities also use the Cary 50 as a reliable, low-cost spectrophotometer in their teaching laboratories.
