The Oasis LM 1200 Liquid Handling Robot Series offers ~ 1200 mm of X axis travel located in a chassis requiring only 49” of laboratory bench. Combined with a compact Y axis and pipetting tools, the result is an extremely efficient worktable providing a total of 42 micro plate positions and pipette head access to 30 common positions for a dual arm system. The worktable is configured with a standard mounting system allowing any combination of worktable accessories to be configured. In addition, the deck area underneath the worktable is essentially hollow further presenting application development versatility
The instrument can be purchased either as a single arm (model LM 1201) or as a dual arm system (model LM 1202). In either case, we allow any standard tool to be configured on the tool arm as well as any combination of available worktable accessories & options.
One of the features of an Oasis LM 1200 Liquid Handling Robot is the capability to have both pipette heads on a dual arm system have access to all 9 plates on each of two T-Rx loaded cassettes (refer to the T-Rx product description for further explanation). This feature is essential in providing overall application flexibility by offering any combination of source & destination plate pipetting. For example in a plate replication application, any number of daughter plates can be specified for replication from a mother plate either in Batch or Random Access mode. This is only possible when the mother & daughter plates can be independently transported.
