Thomas Inverted Microscopes
Thomas Inverted Microscopes are ideal for live cell or tissue culture examinations in college, university, and clinical-laboratories settings. The Thomas Inverted Microscope comes with both phase contrast and Brightfield capabilities to meet needs from cell culture to fluorescence microscopy. This model accommodates roller bottles, tissue culture flasks, 96-well plates, hemacytometers, petri dishes, and other vessels. The large stage surface improves specimen access, and angled nosepiece allows for easy access and viewing of objectives. Snap-in stage inserts on the optional mechanical stage with lower controls facilitate cell observation through strain free operation. The aluminum die-cast base reduces vibration and offers superior stability; this stability combined with the trinocular head creates an ideal solution for image documentation via camera attachments. Features include: a coaxial coarse and fine focus, with tension control, a Siedentopf binocular tube, an optional graduated mechanical stage, with clips and four plate inserts, a four-position nosepiece with selected interference filter, and also a switchable power supply to accommodate 110-220 volt requirements. Standard brightfield and phase contrast configurations are available and include a binocular tube with 10X20 mm FOV eyepiece lenses, objectives from 4 to 40x, condenser, dust cover, plastic eyecups, and manual. Thomas microscopes feature a 5-year warranty on all parts, 1-year on electrical parts.
