Thomas Stereo Microscopes are for use in lower magnification educational, biological, inspection and life science applications. Standard 10x widefield eyepieces provide crisp, sharp three-dimensional images of the specimen. The Greenough parallel optics system delivers crisp, flat images with brilliant contrast and exceptional depth of field. Comes with binocular or trinocular viewing head, each 360° rotatable, with single diopter adjustment rotates. Rack and pinion focusing provides fluid, precise focusing with tension control adjustment. The slip-clutch mechanism prevents gear damage. Illumination is provided by a dual light stand or upper halogen/lower fluorescent light combination stand. The frosted glass stage plate in the base provides evenly diffused illumination.
