Fluidigm Corporation - Access Array™ System
Manufactured by Fluidigm Corporation
Targeted Re-sequencing
The Access Array System is the first high-throughput, target-enrichment system designed to work with all of the major next-generation sequencing instruments. The Access Array System enables the user to enrich multiple unique targets (such as exons) from a large number of samples, all at one time. The system combines the cost and throughput benefits of microfluidics with the proven performance and flexibility of PCR.
Custom designed primer sets amplify (and tag) PCR products for sequencing. Simply provide Fluidigm with your regions of interest for the human genome.

Features of Access Array™ System
- Dispense samples Standard 384-well plate format assures compatibility with your existing workflow.
- Dispense primers Only 5µl of primers and sample is used, minimizing the use of expensive reagents.
- Load the array The Fluidigm IFC Controller AX is used to fill the Access Array IFC in a completely automated process.
- Thermal Cycle Use the same thermal cycling parameters as a traditional PCR reaction—no need to re-optimize.
- Harvest the PCR product The IFC Controller AX automatically pools and harvests the product on a per sample basis.
- Collect samples - Use a traditional micropipetter to collect the amplified product from each of the 48 samples.
