This low profile small-footprint orbital shaker platform is powered by a standard magnetic stirrer. When the specially engineered Spindrive® Orbital Shaker Platform is set up on a standard laboratory magnetic stirrer, it functions as an economical orbital shaker. Speed is controlled by adjusting the magnetic stirrer to the required orbital speed. This instrument is ideal for shaking dishes, flasks, trays and for Western Blot processing. Dimensions: Rotating orbit diameter is 21.7mm (7/8"). The platform is 225mm (8-7/8") square by 53mm (2-1/4") high and will hold up to 6.8 kg (15 lb). Weight is 1 kg (2.2 lb).
