The NS500+DLS combines nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA) and dynamic light scattering (DLS) into the same instrument, giving all the benefits of NTA in high resolution sizing with DLS extending the lower detection limit to 4nm.
This means that NTA and DLS data from the same sample can be used in conjunction to provide a greater knowledge of the sample makeup below NTA's detection threshold than either technique alone. This includes size and concentration data of contaminating particles/aggregates in DLS samples and identifying the presence of sub-NTA detectable nanoparticle populations.

Features of NS500+DLS
- Size range extended to 4-2000 nm
- DLS control and analysis integrated into NTA software
- Easy interchange between NTA and DLS data collection
- Z-average, Polydispersity Index (PDI) and Particle Size Distribution (PSD) reported and exported.
- Two techniques in one instrument
The incorporation of NTA and DLS into a single instrument allows the user a method of not only identifying a primary population of particles below the normal detection threshold of NTA, but also enables the degree of monodispersity of the sample to be visualized for the first time providing validation of the DLS data.
