A new optical design improves image resolution and provides high contrast for easy viewing of scales. In addition, all glass anti-reflection coated optical components, including a new 10x focusable eyepiece, have been developed to improve illumination and shadowline contrast. The blue and white shadowline shows the entire magnified scale, not just the white portion, for easy reading and less eye strain.
