The Agilent 8000 Dissolution Sampling Station provides a proven, reliable solution to set up and execute dissolution tests and automated sampling.
The Agilent 8000 Dissolution Sampling Station provides a proven, reliable solution to set up and execute dissolution tests and automated sampling. Dissolution method parameters are entered and stored in the 8000 while allowing unattended, repeatable sample filtration and collection according to regulatory requirements.
Sampling systems are available in 6-, 8- or 12-valve configurations based on the number of active positions on the dissolution apparatus. The Agilent 8000 can be configured with the pump of your choice – 806 Syringe Pump or 810 Peristaltic Pump – depending on the volume accuracy, time point frequency and the filtration required for the dissolution samples. The Agilent 8000 accommodates all versions of Agilent dissolution apparatus.

Features of 8000
- Free up time - provides unattended dissolution sampling by controlling the dissolution apparatus parameters for increased reproducibility * Prevent cross contamination and carryover - septum piercing capability allows sample storage in sealed HPLC vials or test tubes, using various sample tray sizes * Program method preferences - stores 15 programs with up to 10 timepoints or links programs for a maximum of 20 timepoints, with optional automated media replacement option to maintain vessel volumes * Easy calibration - supports routines to regularly calibrate volume accuracy. * Ensure volume accuracy - a patented autocalibration block is used in conjunction with the 810 Peristaltic Pump * Maintain documentation - the built-in printer helps document including the test parameters from an Agilent dissolution apparatus. * System cleaning - automatically flush the sample lines between tests * Configurable with the 708-DS, 709-DS, BIO-DIS Apparatus 3 and Apparatus 7, peristaltic pump, syringe pump, or syringe pump with filter changer, as well as non-Agilent apparatus * PC control of up to four (4) 8000 systems is available using the Dissolution Workstation software.
