AMSbio - Human iPS Cell-Derived Neural Progenitors & Neurons

Manufactured by  AMSbio
Follow this Equipment

AMSBIO offers a range of human non-integrated induced pluripotent stem (iPS) derived neuronal cells.

These neural iPS cells are derived using integration-free fully defined neural induction conditions. These cells are capable of generating a spectrum of cortical neurons that are electrically active and have the ability to form functional synapses and circuits in vitro.

Features of Human iPS Cell-Derived Neural Progenitors & Neurons

Neural Progenitor Cells (hNPCs). Express typical markers of cerebral cortical neural stem and progenitor cells e.g. Pax6 and Foxg1, and spontaneously form polarized neural tube-like rosette structures when plated as a monolayer in culture.

Cerebral Cortical Neurons (hCCNs Plated). Express typical markers of cerebral cortical neurons, such as Tbr1, Ctip2, Brn2 and Cux1

Human Cerebral Cortical Neurons (young hCCNs Frozen). These neurons are cryopreserved in a proprietary freezing medium. After thawing and plating, the neurons terminally differentiate to acquire mature electrophysiological properties, and form functional synaptic network over a period of 40 ~ 50 days.

Human iPS cell-derived Alzheimer's Disease hNPCs. Offering an affordable and easily accessible platform for building their own human cellular models of Alzheimer's disease in a disease-relevant genetic and tissue context.

Neural maintenance medium. A fully defined, serum-free media specifically formulated for culturing of neural progenitor cells and long-term viability of cerebral cortical neurons
