The gentle seesaw action of Eberbach’s platform rocker is useful for preparations requiring agitation with minimal shear forces i.e. gel destaining, Southern blot washing, Northern blot hybridization or Western antibody bonding. The 12”x12” platform has a nonskid surface and rocks 15 degrees each side of horizontal (30 degree total displacement). The speed is adjustable between 5-50 cycles/min. The rocker is designed for continuous operation or the 60 min front panel timer may be used for short runs. The shaker has a weight limit of 10 lbs.
