Every design feature, from its installation system to latch construction, reinforces clean performance and a long service life. The unique integral bracket mounts the chamber flush against the cleanroom wall without the use of any external fasteners or the need for caulking. With no horizontal surfaces to collect dust, the chamber exterior helps maintain the most critical cleanroom requirements.     
     
Internal surfaces are also optimized for easy cleaning and sterilization. The CleanSeam+ Pass-Through has no welded corner seams, and hence no cracks, grind marks, burrs or other imperfections that can harbor germs and other contaminants or snag wipers.     
     
All construction materials support clean operations. The all-electropolished 304/316 SS chamber surfaces and hardware stand up to common cleaning agents and won’t chip or flake. The chamber’s ergonomic LIftLatches eliminate rotary motion that strains wrists and chamber hinges. Because they are externally mounted, they won’t cause metal-on-metal scraping and contamination, as rotary latches do. The one-piece, heat-formed gaskets are mechanically fused to the stainless-steel door reinforcements. They don’t use adhesives, so they won’t creep, deform or outgas—unlike weather-strip-style gaskets.     
     
A mechanical interlock ensures that only one door at a time can open, thereby preventing cross-contamination of rooms on either side. Its locking mechanism, perfected over two decades of design and fabrication experience, provides unsurpassed durability.
