High Performance, Air Bypass, Benchmount Fume Hood

UniFlow SE Fume Hood is designed for high efficiency, energy savings and maximum user protection. Available in 48”, 60”, 72” and 96” width; 32” depth x 59” height. The aerodynamic face opening with airfoil provides uniform airflow into the fume chamber. A constant volume low flow hood with VaraFlow baffle system efficiently directs the airflow through the fume chamber to the exhaust outlet with minimum turbulence and maximum user protection.  
  
To assure safe operations in accordance with SEFA-1-2002 Lab Fume Hoods Recommended Practices and ANSI Z9.5-2003 Laboratory Ventilation Standards, HEMCO recommends that all laboratory hoods be equipped with an airflow monitor.

  • Unitized composite fiberglass superstructure is fire retardant and provides superior chemical resistance and durability. Fume chamber is one-piece design featuring a smooth surface and coved corners. Easy to clean. Durable unitized construction also reduces installation costs because it is lightweight. Making installation easier.     
  • Vertical raising viewing sash with extended veiwing height is clear tempered safety glass with corrosion resistant PVC framing. Horizontal sliding and combination sashes are available. HEMCO recommends sash stops positioned at the design open height for maximum efficiency and user protection.     
  • Lighting in the fume chamber is provided by a vapor-proof energy efficient fluorescent light fixture and convenient control switch wired to junction box. Explosion-proof models are also available but not wired (Must be wired to comply to local codes). All electrical components and services are UL and CSA listed. 115V 60Hz. Other voltage Hz and phase options are available for international and industry requirements.     
  • UniFlow SE Fume Hoods can be equipped with service fixtures, electrical services, work surfaces, sinks, base cabinets, exhaust ducting, blowers and filters to meet your exact requirements.     
  • UniFlow SE Hoods are shipped completely assembled ready to install and connect to service.     
  • Color choices are pearl white exterior with pearl white, silver beige, pewter gray, or zircon blue access-panel and airfoil. Custom colors are also available.

Picture frame sash opening with counter balanced clear tempered safety glass sash with chemical resistant PVC framing, track and aerodynamic sash lift. Vapor-proof light fixture and switch prewired to single point junction box, 115 volt, 60Hz, AC. All electrical components UL listed.      2. UniFlow Bypass Fume Hood with Vapor-Proof Light and Built-In Exhaust Blower   Same as #1 above except equipped with built-in corrosion resistant, vertical discharge,   direct drive exhaust motor/blower, 115 volt, 60Hz, AC with control switches prewired   to single point junction box. All electrical components UL listed. Maximum duct run of   20’.      3. UniFlow Bypass Fume Hood with Explosion-Proof Light   Same as #1 above except equipped with explosion-proof, vapor-proof light fixture, Class I, Group C & D, Class II, Group E, F & G, 115 volt, 60Hz AC, UL Listed. Installed but not wired, must be wired to comply with local codes. For explosion-proof electrical options see page 29, explosion-proof exhaust blower see pages 34-35, fire extinguisher see page 28.      4. UniFlow Bypass Fume Hood with Explosion-Proof Light and built-in Explosion-Proof Exhaust Blower   Same as #3 above except equipped with built-in corrosion resistant, non sparking, explosion-proof motor/blower exhaust system, Class I, Group C & D, Class II, Group E, F & G, 115, volt 60Hz, AC. Explosion-proof exhaust blower and light are installed but not wired, must be wired to comply with local codes. Maximum duct run of 20’.
