HEMCO Corporation announces the New U.L. 1805 Classified LE Constant Volume Fume Hood, available in 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 foot widths. The HEMCO LE fume hood incorporates a Unitized superstructure, with non-metallic dual wall construction for total chemical resistance, strength and durability. Integral one piece fume chamber is glass smooth with all coved corners. The VaraFlow baffle system directs the air through the fume chamber and through the exhaust outlet with minimum turbulence and maximum airflow efficiency. Features of UniFlow LE
- Composite fiberglass construction is fire-retardant and provides superior chemical resistance. Fume chamber is a one-piece design with coved corners that prevents crevice leaks and also reduces installation costs. Glass-smooth surface is durable and easy to clean.
- Vertical raising viewing sash with extended viewing height is clear tempered safety glass with corrosion/chemical-resistant PVC framing. Horizontal sliding or combination vertical/horizontal sashes are also available. HEMCO recommends sash stop open-height positions for maximum efficiency and user protection.
- Lighting in fume chamber is provided by a vapor-proof energy-efficient fluorescent light fixture and convenient control switch wired to the fume hood column-mounted junction box.
- Explosion-proof models for lights and blowers are also available but not wired because they must be wired to comply with local codes. All electrical components and services are UL and CSA listed. 115V 60Hz. Other voltage Hz and phase options are available for international and industry requirements.
- UniFlow LE Fume Hoods can be equipped with service fixtures for liquids and gases, plumbing, electrical services, work surfaces, sinks, base cabinets, exhaust ducting, blowers and filters to meet your exact requirements.
- UniFlow LE Hoods are shipped completely assembled, ready to install and connect to services.
- Color choices are pearl white exterior with pearl white, silver beige, pewter gray, or zircon blue access panel and airfoil. Custom colors are also available.
Four types are available:
- UniFlow LE Fume Hood with Vapor-Proof Light: Superstructure to be unitized corrosion and fire-resistant, non-metallic composite fibreglass construction, one-piece fume chamber liner to have white glass smooth molded-in finish and all coved corners. Adjustable VaraFlow baffle system and bell-shaped exhaust collar. Picture frame sash opening with counter balanced clear tempered safety glass sash with chemical resistant PVC framing, track and aerodynamic sash lift. Vapour-proof light fixture and switch prewired to single point junction box, 115 volt, 60Hz, AC. All electrical components UL listed.
- UniFlow LE By-Pass Fume Hood with Explosion-Proof Light: Same as #1 above except equipped with explosion-proof vapour-proof light fixture Class I, Group C & D, Class II Group E, F & G electrical fixture installed but not wired, must be wired to comply with local codes. 115 volt, 60Hz AC. All electrical components UL Listed.
- UniFlow LE Conventional Fume Hood with Vapor-Proof Light: UniFlow Bypass Fume Hood with Explosion-Proof Light - Same as #1 above except equipped with explosion-proof, vapour-proof light fixture, Class I, Group C & D, Class II, Group E, F & G, 115 volt 60Hz AC, UL Listed. Installed but not wired, must be wired to comply with local codes. For explosion-proof electrical options see page 29. Explosion-proof exhaust blower see pages 34-35.
