Features of UltiMate™ 3000 Standard Binary System

Recommended Use  For laboratories that need an LC and entry-level UHPLC compatible system, and are in the process of adapting UHPLC methods. Typical application areas are QA/QC for pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and personal care products, as well as environmental method development and academic research. Especially recommended for methods where short (up to 100mm length), sub-2µm particle columns are used (fast cycle times) and where fast gradient response is mandatory (i.e., LC-MS). This is the system of choice for when smaller column internal diameters as low as 1mm are planned to be used but also conventional 2.1 to 4.6mm columns with core enhanced particle technology or conventional 3–5µm porous particle columns need to be supported. In academic, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical research, the system excels by mastering discovery type assays as well as purification and target component isolation runs within the research process.

Ensuring Excellent Chromatography

  • Up to 10 mL/min flow rate supporting up to 62 MPa (9000 psi/620 bar) backpressure for column format and column particle size flexibility * Get near-zero dead volume connections for optimal peak shapes even over extended periods by using Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ Viper™ Fingertight fitting system * Minimize contamination between samples for more accurate results using ultra-low carryover autosamplers (with loop and needle permanently in the flow path) * Get precise and accurate flow rates for stable retention times, robust peak integration, and confident identification using Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ SmartFlow™ technology * Optimize mixing efficiency with adjustable gradient delay volumes using Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ SpinFlow™ technology * Transfer methods between systems with confidence; this system shares an identical system delay volume with the Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ RS Binary System by design
