SCIEX - M3 MicroLC
Built for Maximum Sensitivity and Throughput of Precious Samples
You have limited sample volume available and need high-throughput processing. The M3 MicroLC System has been developed for the sensitivity, ease of use, and throughput needs of biopharmaceutical development.
- Maintain high throughput while increasing sensitivity (up to 10x improved LLOQ)
- Use less sample, allowing for multiple analyses
- Save up to 90% of solvents
- Space-saving: stackable on top of SCIEX Triple Quad™ and QTRAP® Systems
- Controlled by Analyst® Software, designed to support 21 CFR Part 11 compliance

Features of M3 MicroLC
Sensitivity and Robustness for Bioanalysis
The M3 MicroLC offers unparalleled sensitivity for biotherapeutic development. Micro flow rates increase the sensitivity of your small sample volume analyses by up to 10x, as compared to analytical flow LC-MS. This makes the M3 MicroLC system the only choice when high sensitivity LC-MS/MS is required.
Engineered for robustness, the M3 MicroLC ensures accurate and reproducible results for peptide quantitation.
- Proprietary Microfluidic Flow Control™ provides retention time reproducibility
- Minimal dead volume flow paths for precise analyses
- Autosampler dynamic load and wash (DLW) allows extremely low carryover
- Trap-elute workflow minimizes sample contaminants in the system
Multiplexing for High Throughput
Designed for high throughput, the M3 MicroLC enables the use of trap-elute workflows. Sample is loaded onto at a high flow rate onto a trap column and then eluted for analysis at a micro flow rate. The result is up to 5x shorter run time than what can be achieved with direct inject micro flow.
- High throughput with increased sensitivity
- Regenerate the trap column during analysis to minimize run time
Complete Microflow UHPLC Solution
SCIEX offers a complete solution for your bioanalytical needs. Designed for ease of use with the SCIEX Turbo V™ source, we offer electrodes optimized for micro flow LC.
SCIEX offers MicroLC Columns in a wide range of particle sizes (2.7 µm - 5 µm), pore sizes (90Å - 300Å) and surface chemistries, including C18, C8, C4, CN, Phenyl, AQ, C18-superficially porous particles and Silane (SIL). Created specifically for fast peptide quantitation, we offer columns packed with HALO Peptide ES-C18.
