The SMX series of micromanipulators are designed to provide best in class positioning stability and noise free recordings. These characteristics are achieved through unique linear piezo drives and a small compact design. While the piezo drives perfectly hold their position even in the power off mode for noise free recordings, the small size of the manipulators minimize the influence of thermal expansion and prevents vibrations.

The micromanipulators provides high precision movements for stable positioning of your probe in any sample. The excellent step resolution allows you to safely approach and target even the smallest structures. And its small size lets you position the micromanipulator right next to your sample and declutters your microscope stage.

Controllers are ergonomically designed and available with rotary knobs or joystick for smooth movement control. Multiple micromanipulators can be controlled with a single controller and its software features a PC interface to integrate the micromanipulator control into Matlab or Labview.
