The PX-MFC 90 D is suitable for dry sample grinding in the laboratory and comes complete with a powerful three-phase motor, an integrated frequency converter with LED display, a dual use grinding chamber that permits easy conversion from one type of mill to the other and a base frame with integrated handle.

Features of POLYMIX® PX-MFC 90 D
  • Hopper volume of 300 ml which can accommodate both dense and light, fluffy samples. 
  • 1000 Watt, 3-phase motor provides a low noise level during operation, with 230Volt connection 
  • Hammer and/or Cutting Mill sets, selected based on the type of sample  
  • Sieves from 0.2 to 6 mm mesh size for desired particle sizes 
  • Integrated speed control with LED display for speed and status messages 
  • Speeds from 50 to 6,000 RPM for maximum grinding efficiency 
  • The motor cannot be operated when the chamber door is open 
  • Integrated overheating, overload and rotor blocking protection 
  • Specially designed rod for the safe introduction of difficult samples 
  • If the door is opened during operation for any reason, the motor is stopped. 
  • Grinding chamber with hopper and rotary slide for product dosing, outlet can accommodate collection tube or vessel with NS29 standard ground joints 
  • Mill can be easily converted to hammer or cutting mill due to the interchangeable grinding sets 
  • Aluminium anodized base frame with integrated handle for easy carrying
