    Features of Investigator SFC System
    One system – Two methodologies    The Investigator SFC System’s flexibility is unprecedented. It has a wide operating range, supporting flow rates up to 15 mL/min, automated control of pressure and temperature, precise CO2 delivery, flexible co-solvent selection, and a fully integrated 10- column capacity oven, making it the perfect methods development tool for screening multiple compounds using multiple columns, and various mobile phase compositions. Once the optimal mobile phase and stationary phase are determined from screening, the method can be further optimized and scaled up for purification – all on one system.        A purpose-built system that enhances the applications workflow    The Investigator SFC System has a variety of system features, with flexible options allowing you to configure the right system for your specific laboratory workflow and suit your application needs.         A variety of detection options, including photodiode array (PDA), tunable ultraviolet/visible (TUV), and/or evaporative light scattering (ELS), address both method development and small-scale purification needs, enabling you to analyze a wide variety of compounds and accurately collect the purest fractions possible. Optional sample cooling is available for applications with temperature sensitive samples.        The Investigator SFC System is capable of performing purification in either sequential inject or stacked injection mode. Under isocratic chromatographic conditions, stacked injections can be extremely beneficial when higher productivity or increased solvent reduction is needed. Stacking the injections enables you to start a new run after a specified time during the chromatographic cycle, as opposed to waiting until the previous run time is complete, as is done in traditional "sequential" injections.         Software platforms designed for the way you want to work    Whether your lab is tasked with developing methods, completing basic fractionation of your target compounds, or purifying more complex samples, Waters SFC platforms have the right software to do the job.         ChromScope Software is fit-for-purpose, workflow-based purification software that enables fully automated instrument control and facilitates the process of developing SFC methods and purifying samples. Intuitive sequence builder tools help even the most novice user easily create a screening sequence from a number of system variables. The resulting data can be used to determine optimal conditions for the next phase of the purification process. Where there is a large amount of sample to be purified, stacked injection functionality optimizes the collection of the same samples over multiple injections, further enhancing productivity.
