The Thermo Scientific Maxi Mix I Vortex Mixer is ideal for enzymatic and RIA assays, general test tube mixing, biochemical assays, viral dilutions preparations, precipitated assays, cell suspension vortexing and tissue sample mixing.  

You can easily vary vortex mixing by changing the pressure of the tube or flask against the foam pad.  

• Soft foam rubber pad permits vortex mixing of 1 to 4 test tubes simultaneously, depending on tube diameter.   
• You can activate the top-mounted, push button on/off switch with a finger or test tube.   
• Durable plastic case is acid- and alkaline- resistant.   
• Rubber feet hold the mixer in place during operation.   
• One extra foam top (PT167X2), power cord and plug are included.
