Kelvinator Scientific FMS cabinets meet the highest safety standards
for ether, organic solvents and other flammable material.
All cabinets comply with the requirements for flammable material storage as defined in section 1-3 of the NFPA Safety Standards for Listing No. UL-FMS-SA-5763.
Capacities of the four models range from 24.5 to 49.1 cu. ft. (694 to 1390 liters). Cabinets offer a temperature range of 13°C to -30°C (55°F to -22°F). New units have adjustable cantilever shelves and sealed, no-spark interiors.
Solid urethane foam insulated doors have built-in keylocks for added security, and hold-open feature for ease of loading and unloading.
Cabinet construction is of heavy gauge cold rolled steel for the exterior and galvalume on the interior. Urethane insulation binds inner and outer walls into single unit for greater strength and thinner wall construction for more working capacity.
Interior and exterior surfaces are finished with high luster powder coat.
