Direct Replacement. This product has been specifically designed and tested to work in the PerkinElmer standard crimper – 02190048. The only change is, we made this pan stiffer so that it will resist bottom deformation sometimes seen when mechanically crimping difficult samples. PerkinElmer Aluminum Sample Pans and Covers are shipped in a pack of 400. Each sample pan and cover has an operating range of -170° to 600 °C, a volume (µL) 40 and an ambient max pressure. These can be used with nonvolatile solid samples, such as plastics and polymers, and are routinely used for applications such as polymer melting, crystallization, glass transitions of polymers, thermoplastics, and thermosets. Pans are crimped, but not hermetically sealed.
