Features of G7804
Miele glassware washing systems are designed to provide years of consistent, brilliant results even in the harshest laboratory environments. Durable construction ensures superior corrosion resistance and long machine life. User-friendly design and state of the art features help ensure easy, error-free operation. Detergent Dispencing The G 7804 is equipped with a powder door cup detergent dispenser to be filled before each wash load. At the proper time during the cycle, the door cup opens, and dispenses. High Circulation The circulation pump on the Miele G 7804 is rated at 106 gallons per minute for superior cleaning power. For comparison, typical glassware washers circulate only about 60 gpm and common household dishwashers circulate 25 gpm. Miele glassware washers use high water circulation with low spray pressure to provide gentle yet effective cleaning. Most glassware washers utilize high pressure with lower circulation, possibly breaking delicate glassware. For this reason hold down screens are not necessary with Miele washers. Heating System In general, hotter wash water provides better cleaning results. The Miele G 7804 has adjustable wash and final rinse temperatures up to 70ºC. Neutralizer Dispensing During each wash cycle, acid neutralizer is dispensed to ensure complete removal of detergent residues. The G 7804 is equipped with an automatic liquid neutralizer dispenser. The reservoir is located on the inside of the door, and it usually refilled every 30-40 wash loads. Water Softener Proper water hardness levels are key in ensuring detergent performance and prevention of scaling. The Miele G 7804 is equipped with the "Profi Monobloc" water softener, which uses 50% less salt than previous models. It is also no longer necessary to run a reactivation program, as the process is now automatic. Drying System The G 7804 uses a gravity convected drying system. During the 10-minute cycle, the heating elements activate to evaporate moisture from the glassware. This type of drying system is most effective for wide-mouthed items (such as beakers or flasks), or other items that do not need to be 100% dry. For narrow-necked items or applications that require 100% drying, a system with HEPA filtered forced air-drying is ideal. This drying type is featured in the G 7883CD, and G 7835.
